Notes
- On systems running z/OS 1.5 and above, the eventACTION database data sets must be excluded from the z/OS Enhanced Sequential Data Set Integrity feature.
Please refer to the eventACTION Planning and Installation Guide for further information.
- Systems running V7.05 or earlier on z/OS 1.8 must specify or default ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(YES) in parmlib(DIAGxx).
Systems running V7.05 or earlier on z/OS 1.9 or above must explicitly specify ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(YES) in parmlib(DIAGxx).
- Systems running V7.05 or earlier on z/OS 1.9 or above must specify or default NOREFRPROT in parmlib(PROGxx).
- Systems running V7.07 or earlier on z/OS 1.10 or above should contact Action Software International support for the fix for issue #1508.
- Systems running V7.07 or earlier on z/OS 1.11 or above must specify or default REUSASID(NO) in parmlib(DIAGxx).
- For correct support of ISHELL and OEDIT on z/OS 1.11 or above, ussACTION must be at release 7.09.02 or above.
- Systems running V7.09 or earlier on z/OS 1.12 or above must specify or default NON_VSAM_XTIOT=NO in parmlib(DEVSUPxx),
or else eventACTION may fail to track some dynamically allocated data sets.
- z/OS 1.12 provides the ability for some subsystem initialization routines to run in parallel.
This affects the ability to ensure that ISV product system interfaces are installed in a specific order. You will need to review the
cross-product dependencies section of the eventACTION Planning and Installation Guide together with your parmlib(IEFSSNxx) member(s)
to determine whether this affects you. If so, please contact Action Software International Technical Support for guidance.
- Systems running eventACTION 7.10 or higher on z/OS 1.10 or z/OS 1.11 must have the fix for APAR OA30697 installed.
