If your site uses its data security product (RACF, etc,) to control the use of operator commands, you must ensure that the eventACTION started task is able to issue these commands. Please consult with your security administrators. Change BlackoutA new option has been added to place a blackout entry in Warn Mode. The default value is NO (not in Warn Mode). new RTMRTM was completely rewritten in eventACTION 7.0. A number of clients have used this ‘new’ RTM in eventACTION 7.0 and eventACTION 7.1. With eventACTION 7.2 the ‘new’ RTM was ready for production. If you wish to use the new RTM, contact Action Software. With eventACTION 7.3 the ‘new’ RTM is the default for new clients. Also with 7.3, a new option has been added to manage the recording of jobnames. The default is set to NO, since the recording of jobnames can potentially create thousands of additional reference records. FDR InterfaceNEW FEATURE: This first Beta version of the eventACTION FDR interface provides tracking for changes made using FDR, FDRDSF and FDRABR. It is intended that a subsequent version will provide controls for these FDR facilities as well. NOTE: This feature is currently under Beta test and is subject to further change. Please notify Action Software International if you wish to test this feature, and provide feedback regarding the results of your testing.
