the install procedures from the product distribution media either CD or 3480

since there are some z/OS features that may impact eventACTION startup. FDR InterfaceThe eventACTION FDR interface, previously available as a Beta, is now generally available. The interface provides the ability to: track volume level changes; and track and control data set level changes made using the FDR, FDRDSF, FDRABR and FDRCOPY programs. Refer to the eventACTION Planning & Installation Guide for details. GLOBAL Automatic Scheduling OptionsThe region size that is specified on the Reporting options for
automatic scheduling (Option R under the Automatic Scheduling Parameters within
the Global Options) has been changed so that a value suffixed with an M or a K
may be specified to indicate Megabytes or Kilobytes respectively. Reference TrackingPrior to 7.05, when the execution of a module is rejected by PXC, RT will continue to record a reference count if the module is fetched from a library defined to RT. A new parmlib MZCPRMxx option, RT_REJ_BY_PXC has now been added. If this option is set to NO (RT_REJ_BY_PXC=NO) then RT will not record a reference if the execution of a module is rejected by PXC. Product Execution Control (PXC)Now you can specify if the Name is PGM or PROC or CLIST. When you select a PXC entry, you will have the three choices, you can specify YES for all three. REPORTSA new report has been added to the set of report types available under ussACTION. This is the Directory and File Option Summary. It summaries the options set at each of the change tracking levels under USS, i.e. Global Dataset Options, OID options, Directory options and File options. In eventACTION, a new set of Audit reports are now available.
Change Request Selection TemplateThe Change Request selection template (type CR) has been updated to add additional date options and the date options have been moved to the second panel. Now you can specify Since Last Scheduled Job (available only in batch) and Over Previous Days in addition to date range. Change DistributionOption for "Use LULU" at dataset level is removed. If you specify YES for this option for Default Parms, then LULU will be used for all transmissions. This means that you cannot mix Transmit Jobs and LULU. Compare Utility (Online)A new Display Option has been added on the main Compare Utility panel to allow or prevent the issuing of warning messages. The new option is called "Warning Messages" and accepts "YES" to see the warning messages as have always been produced or "NO" to prevent them from being issued. ussACTIONSupport has been added to handle 64 bit callers for USS callable services (OPEN, CLOSE, CHMOD, CHOWN, UNLINK). External LoggingSubtype 12 has been added to record changes to "Command Tracking & Control" definitions. Change RequestsNow you cannot REINIT a Change Request against which at least one change was made. Command TrackingNow you can specify a User Group name for notifying users when a Command is issued. NOTE: Currently you can provide up to four userids on the "Options for Command" panel. The messages are sent using email. Please add userids to User Group.
